His club had to step back because the Karuta club needed a quiet environment for practicing and they could not be accommodated in the same building as explained by their responsible teacher Taeko Miyauchi, against whom Matoba had no chance. Chihaya Ayase, however, leaves the room above the karuta room for the summer break to the band. Matoba is so pleased that he gives the Mizusawa Karuta Club a private concert in front of their Room.
