- The surname Matsumoto means "pine tree, fir tree" (松) (matsu) and "base, root, origin, source" (本) (moto).

- Although Matsumoto had speaking lines in Episode 12, her voice actor is not listed in the closing credits and Taeko Miyauchi-sensei did not even mention her name.
