Mr. Mashima is a very kind man who is "The person to always keep Candy in his pockets" mentioned by Reiko Mashima and he believes Taichi Mashima to be way to perfect for him to communicate with him.

Mr. Mashima met Reiko during High School times. He was with her together on duty as the Public Morals patrol. He never knew how to act around her but must have drawn her attention enough that she gave her consent to marry him.
